BA: North Montgomery defense struggles in loss to Seeger

North Montgomery struggled
defensively committing seven errors. The Chargers also had two mental errors as
well as two base running mistakes. Seeger jumped out and chased Verhey off the
mound after just one complete inning. He gave up 4 runs in the first and 4 runs
in the second as Seeger recorded 3 home runs in the two innings. Brandon Watt
came in and gave up 3 earned before leaving the game. Freshman Bryce Woodall
came in and did a great job for the Chargers holding Seeger to just 2 earned.
North did a great job at the plate registering 14 hits and 11 runs. It just
wasn’t enough to overcome the multitude of errors.
Chargers drop to 5-3 and 3-0 in the conference. They travel to Danville for a 6:30pm
start on Thursday.
